A place to return to. We use your email to manage your account and book orders, including confirmation and password-reset emails. No marketing. No mailing lists. That would be very UnDoctorly!
Your account holds your email address, forum username, saved reading positions and book order history. Public forum contributions and your profile are associated with your username, not your email. Private messages are accessible to conversation participants; moderators can review messages you explicitly report, with access logged. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Forum notification preferences do not subscribe you to marketing. When you order, we store the delivery details needed to print and ship your books. Supabase handles authentication and private storage.
Only your account can access its saved positions. Bookmarks and reading preferences stay on your device. Existing browser positions are imported only when you choose to import them.
Signing out removes this device’s account session. It keeps your browser’s local reading data. On a shared device, use a private browsing window.
Account details and passwords are not sent as analytics events. The site’s existing analytics and advertising integrations still apply.
